At one time there were no teacher unions and no mass school shootings.  Then there came a rise of Teacher Unions, followed by a rise in school shootings.  On April 16, 2007, a few decades after major organizing Teacher Union strikes, the USA saw its first mass school shooting at Virginia Tech.  A 23-year-old student Seung-Hui Cho killed thirty-two students and faculty members.  The killer had come to the USA at the age of 8 where he was exposed to teacher union education for many years before going on his killing spree.
