Many in the fake news media allowed you to get their biased news for free. You’ll be seeing less and less of the
mainstream media’s fake news in the future.
No one wants to pay for fake news, so the media is trying out new ways
to make Internet users pay for their frequently useless news. This means, for those looking for free news
online, the search is becoming harder.
Revenue losses at the Mainstream media have boosted their need for digital
paid subscriptions with a growing trend for keeping content behind a
Free news has by no means disappeared, but recent moves by media groups and
Facebook and Google supporting paid subscriptions is forcing free-riders to
scramble. It’s also forcing smaller,
no-cost news services out of business.
This is easy for Google and Facebook who can always claim a small

"I think there is a definite trend for people to start paying for at least
one news source," said Rebecca Lieb, an analyst who follows digital media
for Kaleido Insights. Lieb said
consumers have become more amenable to paying for digital services and that
investigative reporting on politics in Washington and elsewhere has made
consumers aware of the value of journalism.
Lieb does not seem to realize that Americans aware of the value of journalism
will not pay for biased, twisted and – often – outright dishonest news.
